Clare’s Patrick Kelly has been drafted into the Munster panel for this Sunday’s Inter provincial final in Cusack park
The Inagh kilnamona goalkeeper has been called up by Liam Sheedy after the withdrawal of Tipperray’s Brendan Cummins.
He joins Brendan Bugler and Colin Ryan in the squad ahead of Sunday’s clash in ennis.
Kelly’s call up to the provincial squad means Clare will have three representatives in the Munster squad for the first inter pro final to be held in the county since 1996 when Anthony Daly captained Munster to victory.
The squad for Sunday shows three changes in total ahead fo the game agsint Connacht.
Kelly replaces Brendan Cummins, Waterford’s Noel Connors and Paraic Mahony are unavailable and are replaced by Padraic Maher and Lar Corbett both of Tipperary.
The Connacht side is made up of the Galway senior hurlers who will make the trip to Cusack Park two weeks in a row-as they also face Clare in round two of the hurling league Sunday week in Ennis.
