Clare hurler confident ahead of Munster championship

One of the county’s senior hurlers is hopful recent underage  success can build a a base for Munster success in this year’s championship.

Clare take on Waterford on June 2nd in Thurles in the Munster q-final with Cork awaiting in next month’s semi final.

The county panel have reported  a clean bill of health for that match  following the opening round of the county hurling championships last weekend

Crusheen’s Cian Dillion played the full 60 minutes of his side’s win over St Joseph’s Doorabrefield while spring time absentees Darach Honan and Conor Mc Grath were also in scoring form over the weekend for their respective clubs.

Speaking at the launch of the Munster championship’s Newmarket’s Enda Barrett believes Clare have the talent to make in an impression in Munster this year
