Clare junior clubs have denied that they wish to set up a breakaway league in the county following a meeting held in Ennis last evening.
Clare FM understands less than four clubs attended a private meeting in Ennis last night to discuss ongoing difficulties witht he CDSl executive.

Just a dozen members from less than four clubs attended last evening’s meeting in Ennis to discuss concerns they have with recent incidents involving the Clare and District Soccer League.
Speaking to Clare FM a club spokesperson said there was never any intention to set up a breakaway league in the county contrary to newspaper reports this week.
He said that clubs expressed their disatisafaction with recent events and that they will make a submission to the board in the coming weeks on how the league can be improved.
Responding to a Clare FM query a board spokesperson has said it is business as usual for the board as they look forward to the end of the season
