Clare Intermediate Team Named For Cork Clash

Ruan’s Aidan Lynch has been named to start for Clare in tomorrow’s Munster Intermediate Championship semi-final with Clare, seemingly shaking off concerns that he could miss out due to an ankle injury.

Lynch has been named at full-forward, with clubmate Killian Ryan captaining the side from corner back.  He starts alongside Tulla’s Darragh Corry and Ballyea’s Jack Brown, and ahead of Keith Hogan of Clooney/Quin in goal.

In the half-backs, Stephen O’Halloran of Clarecastle and Broadford’s Cathal Chaplin start along with Alan O’Neill.  The Doora/Barefield man’s clubmate Jarlath Colleran is in midfield, as well as Pa Sheehan of Sixmilebridge.

The half-forwards are comprised of Feakle’s Gary Guilfoyle, Mike O’Neill of Kilmaley and Ennistymon’s Cathal Malone with Inagh Kilnamona’s Niall Arthur and Cathal O’Connell of Clonlara starting wither side of Lynch in the full-forward line.
