In news of Aussie Rules, Clare’s Shane Liddy is part of a 28-strong Irish Team for the 2013 AFL Europe Championship which takes place in Dublin next week.
Five other countries will send teams for the event, which is the biggest AFL title outside of Australia.

Ireland are defending champions, and will count the Newmarket man among their panel for the event which begins this Saturday.
