Sundays Senior Football Championship fixtures

In the Senior Football championship, there are two round two games this evening, Quilty hosts a double header from 5pm.

First up is clash of St. Senans Kilkee and Doonbeg who recorded wins in round one last weekend.

After that at 7 o’clock, Kilrush Shamrocks will be looking to get their championship campaign back on track when they take on St.Breckans.

In yesterdays action, Kilmurry Ibrickane came from five points down at half time to avoid a relegation playoff and beat Liscannor 1-07 to 1-06.

Eire Og had a one point victory over St Josephs Doora Barefield in their clash at Cusack Park, that finishing 1-08 to 1-07, meaning the townies progress to the quarter finals.

The round one replay of O’Currys and Shannon Gaels ended in a three point victory for O’Currys on a score line of 1-07 to 0-07

O’Currys will now meet Ennistymon in round two, while Shannon Gaels will face Lissycasey.
