Killaloe’s Jonathan McGrath has missed out on a spot in the final of S8 400m Freestyle event at the IPC World Championships in Montreal.
McGrath, who swam for Ireland in the London Paralympics last year, was just beaten into sixth place in his heat, completing the event in a time of just over five minues.

He finishes 12th overall, and next swims in a relay for Ireland tomorrow.
