In Greyhound racing, there was a big win in Limerick last night for the Toby Syndicate from Quin Co. Clare.
They won race 9 the Grade A 600 Semi final with "Yeah Giovanni".
In Galway, Clare trainers captured five out of 9 contests, Race three was won by the Mountshannon and Kim Knell trained "Feed Me Peaches"
Myles Cummins of Newmarket on Fergus had victory with "Snuggie Jack" in race four.
Race five went to the Noel Moroney trained "Tiermana Star" of Ennis.
Clare Duo PJ Reynolds and Joe Considine took Race 6 with "Callura Warhawk", while another Banner winner followed in Race seven for Tony Quinn and Sean Heeney with "Cahercalla Risk"
