Fellow 2012 Olympic medallist Michael Conlon is quoted today as saying that he too is considering moving to the paid ranks if he wins gold at next month’s World Championships, while last year’s Olympic silver medallist John Joe Nevin is widely expected to announce that he has signed a professional contract in the coming days.
