Tony McCoy has claimed his 4,000th career winner.
The 39-year-old partnered "Mountain Tunes" to success this afternoon at Towcester racetrack to become the first jumps jockey reach the landmark and in the process he earned everyone at Towcester a free drink.
Irish businessman JP McManus has opened-up a tab for the estimated 4,000 race fans at the track, after watching McCoy reach the historic landmark while wearing his famous green and gold colours and riding for long-time trainer Jonjo O’Neill.
