Ulster have confirmed that Stephen Ferris is to retire.
The back row recently returned from a 16 month injury lay-off due to an ankle injury but only lasted four games.

The 28 year old represented his country on 35 occasions and played in every game of Irelands 2009 Grand Slam winning campaign.
