Clare’s Cunningham To See Specialist

Aaron Cunningham is to see a specialist after undergoing a scan on his knee injury, but it's hoped the Wolfe Tones man hasn't damaged his cruciate ligament.

The Clare senior panelist picked up the injury during Wednesday’s win for the Clare Under-21 hurlers over Limerick, but it’s now hoped the injury isn’t as bad as was first feared.

Elsewhere, Cork manager Jimmy Barry Murphy has made just one change ahead of Sunday's Munster quarter-final replay against Waterford

Bill Cooper, who scored a goal off the bench in the drawn game, takes over from Cian McCarthy at centre-forward.  Eoin Cadogan is amongst the subs.

Meanwhile, there's no place for the recovering Henry Shefflin in the Kilkenny squad for their Leinster Quarter-Final against Offaly.

Three players make their Championship debuts – corner-back Brian Kennedy, Padraig Walsh at wing-back and full-forward Mark Kelly.

Offaly will hand-out championship debuts to four players on Saturday with Niall Wynne and Barry Harding named in defence while Peter Geraghty and Kevin Connolly have both been listed on the half-forward line.

The team shows eight changes from the side that lost last year's meeting between the two sides.
