Clare sides in Feile Peil na nÓg action

Update from Clare teams in Feile Peil na nÓg this weekend in Connacht.

Ennistymon are competing in the boys Division 4 in Sligo, and recorded wins over Balla of Mayo and Abbeyside/Ballinacourty of Waterford last night.

 

This morning saw them take on host club Eastern Harps with the Sligo side victorious by 4-2 to 0-7.

 

The North Clare lads now await confirmation of whether they are in the Cup or Shield 1/4 final this evening. Three teams finished level on 4 points, with a decision expected shortly on the outcome.

 

Meanwhile Miltown Malbay are in the boys Division 8 in Leitrim . They lost their first game against St Brigids of Leitrim but recovered to beat Drumgoon Eire Óg of Cavan in their second.

 

They kept the winning habit going this morning by beating host club Eire Óg of Roscommon by 4-4 to 0-6 and they will now contest the Division 8 1/4 final in Pairc Diarmuida this evening.

 

 Doora Barefield are the girls representatives, and they have qualified for the 1/4 of the Girls Division 2 in Roscommon. They beat St Croans of Roscommon and St Pauls of Laois last evening, before beating host club St Feiles this morning.
