Clare Squeeze Into Munster Final

Clare's Under-21 Hurlers have been praised after they overcame Tipperary in last night's thrilling Munster semi-final.

The reigning All-Ireland Champions needed extra time, and had to dig deep to clinch a 5-19 to 1-25 win at Cusack Park.

A late Aaron Cunningham point had ensured another grandstand finish, but Clare were then on top as the Wolfe Tones man and the returning Shane O'Donnell both scored goals to see Clare reach the provincial decider for the sixth time in seven years.

The Banner will now play Cork in two weeks’ time, after they thrashed Waterford by 3-18 to 16 points at Walsh Park.
