Former Ireland Captain Delighted By New Zealand Win

A former captain of the Irish women's side has compared their victory over New Zealand to climbing Mount Everest.

Killaloe woman Rosie Foley, who won 39 caps for her country and who played in two World Cups, has also joined with those who have paid tribute to the team, and long-serving manager Philip Doyle.

Ireland's 17-14 win over New Zealand means they're one win away from the semi-finals, and the team will be strongly favoured in Saturday's match against Kazakhstan.
