To hurling first and Ballyea are planning without the services of Gary Brennan in Saturday's Championship clash against Inagh/Kilnamona.
The Clare football captain picked up a dead leg while playing for Clondegad in the Club Championship last weekend, and is a major doubt for the game at Cusack Park.
Manager Robbie Hogan admits it's a big blow, but says they won't let it hold them back.
The Inagh/Kilnamona-Ballyea clash will draw a close to Saturday's action.
Before that, Saturday sees a double-header in Clarecastle – Sixmilebridge play Kilmaley in their relegation tussle from 2 o'clock while Tulla meet Tubber at 3:30.
There's also three Senior B Championship games – Wolfe Tones meet Whitegate at 2 o’clock in Broadford, while there’s a 4:00 throw-in Tulla when Scarriff meet St. Joseph’s.
The Broadford v O’Callaghans Mills game is in Cusack Park from 5:30, while the Senior B action concludes in Gurteen on Sunday at 1:30 when Éire Óg face Ruan.
There are three other Senior A games all take place on Sunday.
Clonlara play Clooney-Quin in Sixmilebridge while Newmarket meet Clarecastle at Cusack Park, both at 1 o'clock.
At 6:30 then, Crusheen meet Cratloe, also in the county grounds.
