There's quarter finals at stake for four of Clare's club Hurling teams this afternoon.
In the senior competition Sixmilebridge and Kilmaley go head to head at 2 while at 3.30 Tubber and Tulla will meet.
Both of those games take place in Clarecastle.
Less than a year after they lifted the Canon Hamilton, Sixmilebridge take on Kilmaley knowing a third loss this year would endanger their Senior status.
Later Ballyea and Inagh/Kilnamona, and Broadford and O'Callaghans Mills – go head-to-head in a Cusack Park double-header this evening.
Ballyea are planning without the services of Gary Brennan in Saturday's crunch Championship clash against Inagh/Kilnamona.
The Clare football captain picked up a dead leg while playing for Clondegad in the football competition this past weekend, and is a major doubt for the game at Cusack Park.
