Focus on Under 21 Hurling Semi Final

A member of the last two Clare sides who claimed glory in the All-Ireland Under-21 Hurling Championship is confident his former team-mates will be focussed on the task at hand in Saturday's All-Ireland semi-final.

The Banner take on Antrim in Semple Stadium, less than a year after they recorded a 22-point win over the same opposition in last year's decider.

Cratloe's Podge Collins was one of those who lined out on that occasion, though he is now over-age and will instead join clubmate Conor McGrath at a Denny deli-style event in Clarecastle on Saturday morning.

However, he's convinced the current crop of Clare players won't overlook the threat of the Ulster champions.

Staying with Hurling and Kilkenny manager Brian Cody says they have no fresh injuries to deal with in the run into the All Ireland final on September 7th.

Richie Power, Michael Fennelly and Henry Shefflin  have all carried injuries this season but all are ready having played their part in the semi final.
