O’Connor: Saffrons will be out for revenge

Clare joint U21 manager Gerry O'Connor says last years defeat in the All Ireland Final will be a major motivation for Antrim in tomorrows clash.

The Banner face the Saffrons in the All Ireland semi final in Thurles, with a place in the decider against either Galway or Wexford at stake.

In 2013, Clare defeated Antrim by 2-28 to 0-12 to claim back to back All Ireland titles, and O'Connor says that result is going to be to the forefront of the Antrim minds

Meanwhile Clare selector Jimmy Browne says the Munster champions need to leave their performance against Cork behind them if they are to be victorious tomorrow.

The Banner beat the Rebels by 1-28 to 1-13 in last months final and Browne says while it was an outstanding performance, the focus needs to be on reproducing it against Antrim

Throw in tomorrow at Semple Stadium is at 4pm, live commentary here on Clare FM in association with Manix Menswear on the Lower Market Street in Ennis.
