Clare SFC Quarter Final line up complete

The last eight ties in the Clare Senior Football Championship have been decided

Defending champions Cratloe will take on O’Currys after the west Clare side beat St Josephs Doora Barefield in extra time. The game finished level at 1-10 to 0-13 at the end of normal time, Eoin Troy with the O’Currys goal. He added another from the penalty spot in the first half of extra time and they closed out the game to win by 2-12 to 0-16.

Kilmurry Ibrickane advanced to take on Clondegad, after they got the better of Kilkee. They led by the minimum at the break, a Dara Kelly goal for the Seasiders right on half time leaving it Kilmurry 0-9 Kilkee 1-5. The 2012 champions dug deep to ground out the win on a 0-16 to 1-9 scoreline.

Cooraclare set up a meeting against neighbours  Doonbeg with a 2-13 to 1-3 win over Ennistymon on Saturday evening. Second half goals from Cathal and Tadgh Lillis sealing passage for the Sky Blues.

The final quarter final sees Miltown taking on Eire Óg. The Townies were comprehensive 3-16 to 0-6 winners over Lissycasey, with the goals coming from Eoin Glynn, Steven Hickey and Dean Ryan.

In the battle for survival in the senior ranks, a late rally from St Breckans saw them defeat Shannon Gaels by 1-10 to 1-8, while Liam Madigan was the hero for Kilrush, as his late point clinched a one point win over Liscannor, 1-5 to 1-4.
