Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini is pleased to have six points from two games after a difficult start to their campaign.
The champions followed an opening weekend win at Newcastle with a 3-1 home victory over Liverpool last night, Steven Jovetic scoring twice while Sergio Aguero came off the bench and scored within seconds .

Pellegrini says their build up to the new season wasn't ideal.
Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers says they haven't suffered a greater psychological blow as a result of a defeat.
