Cratloe Ready For Townies Tussle

The countdown is nearly over for this weekend's mammoth weekend in the Clare Senior Hurling Championship.

The Quarter-Finals will be down for decision this weekend, with three of the games forming a mouth-watering triple header at Cusack Park.

The action there will start with the meeting of Eire Og, who topped their group in the Senior B Championship, and Cratloe who also have a 100% record to date.

Three more wins would see them crowned county champions, but manager Joe McGrath insists they're focussed solely on this weekend.

Meanwhile, there was one game in the PK Travel Senior Camogie Championship last night – Kilmaley beat Kilkishen 1-8 to 0-8.

The Armagh county board have appointed Kieran McGeeney as their new manager.
