All Systems Go For Hurling Action

Ballyea manager Robbie Hogan says while his team has yet to hit top form in 2014, he's happy to be still involved in the knockout stages.

They take on fellow parishioners Clarecastle on Sunday in Cusack Park, with the winners going through to the semi-finals of this year’s championship.

That game will be the fourth of this weekend’s Quarter-Finals, with the remaining three taking place on Saturday.

This weekend also sees action in the relegation playoffs, beginning this evening when Clooney/Quin take on Broadford in Sixmilebridge at 6.30pm.

Four more teams battle for senior survival tomorrow – Whitegate and Tulla clash in Sixmilebridge from 4:30 while before that at 2 o'clock, Kilmaley meet St. Joseph's Doora-Barefield in Clareabbey.
