Cratloe set up Clare SHC final showdown with Crusheen

Cratloe advanced to the County Hurling Final with a 4-15 to 1-19 win over Clarecastle.

Joe McGraths side led at the break by 2-11 to 1-8, with two Conor McGrath goals the difference between the sides.

The first came inside the opening ten minutes, but the response from Steven Ward was immediate as he struck for a goal for the Magpies.

McGraths second goal left the scoreline at 2-10 to 1-7, and they maintained that 6 point lead at the break.

Clarecastle started the second half the brightest, and some fine scores from Bobby Duggan left just two between the sides.

Two quickfire goals for Cratloe stretched their lead once more, with McGrath turning provider for Podge Collins to score, before he got on the end of an Ogie Murphy crossfield ball to complete his hat trick.

Try as they might, Clarecastle couldn't find a way back into the game, and Cratloe closed out a 4-15 to 1-19 win.

They'll now take on Crusheen in this years decider.
