Crusheen and Cratloe look ahead to Clare SHC Final

Crusheen center back Cian Dillon says they knew a strong start was crucial if they were to overcome Clonlara in their semi final encounter.

The sides were level at the break at 0-6 a piece, with Crusheen grinding out a 0-10 to 0-8 win at the final whistle.

Dillon, an All Ireland winner in 2013, says it was important the game didn't slip away from them early on.

They'll now take on Cratloe in this years decider in a repeat of the 2010 decider, which Crusheen won.

Joe McGraths side beat Clarecastle by 4-15 to 1-19, with All Star Conor McGrath helping himself to 3-4, while Podge Collins chipped in with 1-3.

Cratloe's footballers contest the county semi final next week, and hurling manager Joe McGrath says that will now be the immediate focus.
