Collins looking forward to County Football Final clash with Eire Óg

Cratloe boss Colm Collins says he's looking forward to the challenge Eire Óg will present in this years County Football Final.

The defending champions booked their spot in this years decider with a 0-12 to 0-8 win over Cooraclare.

They've already beaten Eire Óg in this years championship, the sides met in the opening round with Cratloe victors by 2-12 to 1-12.

Collins says he's anticipating another good battle

Meanwhile, Eire Óg manager James Hanrahan has identified the strength in depth of his panel as being crucial in their march to this years Final.

They overcame 2012 champions Kilmurry Ibrickane by 0-14 to 1-7 in Saturdays semi final, to get back into the showpiece event for the first time in seven years.

During the course of the game, Hanrahan was able to call on the services of a number of subs, including county minor hurling captain Dara Walsh, and U21 All Ireland Hurling winner David Reidy.

He says building a panel was a priority for the club.
