They took on neighbours Miltown Malbay in Pairc Naomh Mhuire Quilty, winning on a scoreline of 1-11 to 1-7.
At half time Kilmurry led by 0-6 to 0-5.
A Steven Moloney goal for Kilmurry stretched that lead before Enda Fox replied in kind for Miltown.
Kilmurry kept the scoreboard ticking over as the half went on to claim a four point win.
