The management team of the All-Ireland winning Clare Under-21 hurlers have paid tribute to their squad members who have now received individual honours.
Seven players – Seadna Morey, Conor Cleary, Jamie Shanahan, Eoin Enright, Colm Galvin, Tony Kelly and Aaron Cunningham – have been given the equivalent of All-Stars by being named on the Bord Gáis Energy Under-21 Hurling Team of the Year.
They will receive their honours in a ceremony at Croke Park this Saturday, where Clonlara's Colm Galvin or Aaron Cunningham of Wolfe Tones could also be named as Player of the Year.
Joint manager with the Banner Gerry O'Connor says even these individual awards have come following a collective effort.
