Clare's Diarmuid Nash remains in second place in the national handball rankings after he reached the final of a prestigious competition this past weekend.
The Scarriff man, who was top seed, was beaten by Cork's Killian Carroll in the Final of the Golden Gloves event in Belfast.

The same event saw Fergal Coughlan of Clooney crowned overall winner in the Boy's 17 and Under category.
Nash is now comfortably in second in the Mens 40×20 rankings, 11 points behind leader Robert McCarthy of Westmeath.
Another East Clareman Niall Malone is in 22nd.
