What a week!
The cat is out of the bag …. or should I say CAR ….. and there's plenty of excitement in Clare FM after it was revealed we're giving away a KIA PICANTO! I nearly burst trying to keep it in and from Monday we'll be giving you details on how you can win yourself a new set of wheels.
We've teamed up with Liam Cleary Autoworld, Kilrush Road, Ennis to celebrate our 25th Birthday. Stephen made the announcement after travelling around the county on Wednesday afternoon.
We started off the day with a bang on the Breakfast show. What a privilege it was to be joined by Syl O'Connor in studio for the morning. We also had live music. Big high five to Fiona Coughlan and Ciara Fitzgerald who brought the guitar and sang beautifully for us. Caoimhe Morrissey on concertina and Sadhbh O'Brien on fiddle got us up and going, lifting the county from any mid-week slump.

I was very excited when the birthday cake arrived but more so by the presence of Mike Gardiner on a weekday. I couldn't resist grabbing a sneaky pic with the legend, who's been on the station since it began in 1989.

This Saturday our U21 Hurlers go in search of 3 in a row as they head to Thurles for the All Ireland U21 Hurling Final agaisnt Wexford. Get out the bunting, and stay tuned to Clare FM as we build up to the match. Thanks to Jamesie O'Connor who we put to the test on the Quick Fire Quiz ahead of the clash. We also brought some Banner cheer to Andy Hanrahan who's flying the Banner flag proudly at the primary school where he works in Wexford. Hon the Banner.
