Friends With Tractors

More adventures to come on the Breakfast show.

I love nothing more than getting out and about across the county. Last week I traveled to Kilmurry to find out all bout their Harvest Festival. I can now say with certainty that 'I've got friends with tractors.'  I had a great time checking out Sean Collins impressive vintage tractor and engine collection and I even got to try out a Fergie for size.

What do you get when you mix trad with rock music? This week we find out as I visit a summer camp with a difference. We'll also be checking in with some of the Clare contestants heading to the Community Games over the next couple of weeks.

What are you doing on Sunday? Fancy a bit of Kayaking. We've teamed up with UL Sport Adventure Centre we have a place on their new Canal Kayak Tours in Killaloe up for grabs. Tune in to find out how you can win.

Best of luck to all those picking up their Leaving Cert results this Wednesday – candles will be lit across the county! If you'd like to wish someone luck email me ciara@clare.fm and I'll give them a shout out.

Last week I also caught up with the cyclists taking part in Tour De Munster. What an incredible achievement. I got to chat to Conrad McCullough from Corofin who has down syndrome and cycled from Killaloe to Ennis with the group – an incredible young man.

Don't forget we're with you from 6am every weekday morning.

Catch ya then,

Ciara
