Morning Focus Monday December 5

Last night in an address to the nation, the Taoiseach Enda Kenny spoke of a fragile economy that remains in crisis
On Monday’s Morning Focus we heard some of that address and Michael Brennan, Deputy Political Editor with The Irish Independent discussed it and took a look ahead to the Budget 2011

The first part of a two-day budget will be announced today – with 2.2 billion in expenditure cuts from the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform  Brendan Howlin will announce social welfare cuts, hit health services and slashing of budgets across all Government Departments
Tomorrow Finance Minister Michael Noonan will give the details of Budget 2011

Clare FM’s Dermot Hogan took to the streets of Ennis to find out how people feel ahead of Budget 2012…we heard what they said.

Fergal Cahill, Taxation Consultant with Cahill Taxation Services had a word about what to expect from the Budget, from business and personal perspectives
