This week, the row over rates increases for Ennis and Kilrush ramped up. A Day of Action for December 14 was announced. Gavin was joined in studio by Niall Barrett Head of Finance, Clare County Council and later by Rita McInerney CEO of Ennis Chamber of Commerce.
Ahead of an event on social media savvy parenting Joanne Sweeney Bourke shared her advice with Gavin. 
Dr Máire Finn of Ennis Family Medical Centre discussed thyroid problems. 
Mary Morrissey of Clarecastle and District Day Care Centre joined Gavin in studio to discuss the annual Christmas Craft Fair.
Clare's Ocean Hero, Caroline Coleman, joined Gavin to chat about her efforts to keep Clare’s coastline litter free.
Ahead of the launch of a special suicide support initiative under the West Clare Taking Care banner, Gavin was joined by Dr Billy O'Connell, GP Miltown Malbay and Brigid Hearne Counsellor.
To mark the 10th birthday of the Old Bake House in Miltown Malbay, Eddie Keane told Gavin of his time to serve 1,000 free lunches in support of the William Winder Rainbow Foundation.
TG4 dating show, Pioc do Ride, visited Lisdoonvarna and Dubliner Anna Miles, one of the show’s contestants, told Gavin how she got on.
