Concern grew for missing Clare man Michael Bugler, last seen at a bar on Quay Street, Galway, in the early hours of December 18. Gavin spoke to Caroline Whelan, a journalist with the Galway Advertiser. 
Ahead of Christmas, Morning Focus revisited Clonlara to hear how Geraldine Quinlivan, Mike Hogan and their families will be spending Christmas. 
We heard concerns about restrictions on the ShannonDoc out-of-hours GP service from Sarah O’Leary Doyle who lives in Cranny. She told Gavin that she, her children and her elderly relatives have had to use the service in Ennis, rather than the bases in Kilrush or Miltown Malbay, because of their restricted opening hours.
The Christmas season is a time when thousands of people around the county will take to the waters to support sponsored swims for all kinds of charities. This year, however, there's an particular danger associated with an unusual full moon on December 25. Gavin heard from John Leech, CEO of Irish Water Safety.
With a hugely successful Christmas Toy Appeal drawing to a close, Gavin heard from its organiser, Clare FM’s Stephen McDermott.
County Dog Warden Frankie Coote spoke to Gavin about the change in contract for the dog pound in Clare.
