A busy Tuesday edition of Morning Focus included poet Sarah Clancy among its guests.

The Bellharbour resident told Gavin Grace why she protested yesterday at Shannon Airport as the American Vice President, Mike Pence began his official visit to Ireland. Listen back below:

The show opened with a chat with Irish Independent columnist and political commentator, John Downing, who told Gavin why he’s concerned Brexit could be an excuse for the government to splash out in the forthcoming Budget.

Then, Gavin heard from Dep Timmy Dooley, Clare’s FF TD about a range of contentious issues from health services to the beef crisis.

After that, Gavin heard from Rita O’Brien, Clinical Midwife Specialist in Bereavement Support at UMHL, about an Early Pregnancy Loss/Miscarriage, Ectopic Pregnancy Information Evening taking place at The Greenhills Hotels, Ennis Road Limerick, from 7-8.30pm on Monday, September 9th (2019). It’s organised by medical and midwifery staff of University Maternity Hospital Limerick (UMHL) who will outline the supports available. Listen back below:
