Morning Focus – Wednesday 28/03/18

The midweek edition of Morning Focus was a feast of music and drama, with performers from Doonbeg Drama Group joining Pat Flynn in studio.

Mary Egan, director of the one-act play, ‘Shakespeare’s a Dick’ joined Pat along with some of the cast of the show.

The show opened with a discussion of some of the latest developments in national politics. Pat heard from political correspondent Seán Defoe about discussions of draft abortion legislation and the expulsion of a Russian diplomat.

Then, Pat was joined by Ann Norton who has been following up the controversy over the ‘in loco parentis’ clause for some sick children in receipt of complex home care packages.

After that, Pat was joined in studio by Donal Ó Lionsigh who gave his views on the cost of translating the County Development Plan into Irish.

The Money Doctor John Lowe then joined Pat for his fortnightly financial advice column.
