Gavin was joined by John Hayes, a lecturer in Electrical Engineering at University College Cork, who is an expert on the technology behind electric vehicles (EVs). Listen back below:

Wednesday’s show opened with a discussion on the ongoing beef crisis and the fact that some Clare farmers are continuing to protest. Gavin spoke with Pat O’Toole of the Irish Farmers’ Journal.

Then, there was a discussion of student mental health with Aaron Burke from Ennis who is President of GMIT Students’ Union as well as consultant psychiatrist Dr John Hillery from Spanish Point. Listen back below:

After that, Gavin was joined by Edel Mee of IT Security People in Clarecastle. She had a warning for companies about a number of cyber risks, including invoice redirection fraud. Listen back below:

In the second hour of the show, Gavin spoke with John Scott, a friend of the family of missing Tullamore woman Pauline Walsh, who was last seen at the Cliffs of Moher on August 5. John appealed to those living and working in coastal communities to be vigilant.

Lisa Ludlow from L & M Keating Engineering in Kilmihil was Gavin’s next guest. She told him about their charity motorbike ride for ‘Miles for Smiles’.
