Next on the show, President of Ennis Chamber Gwen Culligan was in the studio talking to Gavin about what she would like to see done to improve Ennis.

Afterwards, Gavin was talking to Eileen O’Malley, who introduced the Three for the Sea initiative to clear up beaches in Clare. The project introduced signage to encourage the public to pick up three pieces of litter before they leave the beaches in Spanish Point and Whitestrand, Miltown Malbay. This idea has now spread to Co Wicklow and Cllr Steven Matthews joined us on air to talk about why they also are adopting this strategy to clean up our beaches.

Dr Máire Finn joined us live in studio to tell us all about keeping our hearts healthy for our regular Ask the GP segment. Listen Back Below:

This week’s Greatest Song You’ve Never Heard was ‘The Lights of Cincinnati’ by Scott Walker.

Next on the show, Gavin caught up with the organising committee of the West Clare Drama Festival Donnbeg. This year is particularly exciting as it is hosting the All Ireland Confined Drama Festival for the first time. Listen back to find out more:

Lastly, John Underhill returns for our regular segment of Ask the Vet. Listen Back:
