Morning Focus Wednesday October 30

On Wednesday’s Morning Focus Marian Egan was joined in studio by Anne Looney and Alison Lillis, Managers at the Local Property Tax Branch of the Revenue Commissioners on the Kilrush Road in Ennis

They reminded Clare homeowners they don’t have to pay their local property tax in one lump sum if they prefer a more gradual option.
Nearly 1 million homeowners who paid their 2013 tax through cheque, debit or credit card are receiving letters this week, asking them to select a preferred payment method for next year.
And while there has been criticism because some will pay in the run-up to Christmas, Revenue insists there are alternative options.
