Gavin also spoke with Karen Haller, Author and Colour Expert about the psychology of colour in relation to our everyday lives at home and work. Colour psychology is the study and understanding of the effects of colour, how we feel and how we perform. When we see a colour we instantly feel its effect, whether we are consciously aware of it or not. Each colour has positive and negative psychological effects depending how they are used. The key to a positive harmonious colour palette is the relationship between combinations of colour. This can be used to change the mood between rooms in your home or place of business, or present yourself as a serious professional at work.

Caoimhe McCabe, a student at Colaiste Mhuire, Ennis spoke to The Today Show following the news that she’s been selected to go forward to the Southern Regional Final of the ERP Junk Kouture Recycled Fashion Competition, which will take place at the Strand Hotel, Limerick on the 1st April. The competition, which is in its second year, sets the challenge to budding fashion designers among secondary school students inviting them to rework trash and other already used materials and craft them into remarkable high-end couture fashion for both men and women.
