A new report has found that over 2,900 jobs are associated with the drinks industry in Clare.
The research, compiled by Tony Foley of the DCU Business School and commissioned by a range of groups in the Drinks Industry, has found there are 337 pubs and bars in the county, paying 31 million euro in wages.

It also claims that the industry buys 2.9 million euro worth of 'inputs' from the county.
The group is calling on people to support their local, while at the same time calling for steps which it says are necessary to address alcohol misuse.
