The Emergency Department at the regions main hospital is once more the most overcrowded in the country today.
Figures from the INMO show that 39 people are awaiting admission to University Hospital Limerick, with 23 on trollies and 16 on overflow areas of wards.
In total, 462 people are waiting for a hospital bed nationwide
