A further 700 people have now closed their claim for the pandemic unemployment support payment.
Figures from the Department of Social Protection show that from tomorrow, the number of Clare people claiming support under the scheme will have dropped by 3,000 since the middle of May.
Nationally, 498,700 people will be paid under the scheme this week.
