The cabinet sub-committee on Covid-19 will meet today to discuss the impact of the major restrictions introduced last Friday.
The death toll due to the virus in the Republic has risen to 85, following 14 more deaths yesterday.
An additional 212 cases have been confirmed, including 5 in Clare, which means there are now 45 cases in this county and 3,447 across the country.
