Clare Haulier Expects “Mayhem” If Britain Crashes Out Of EU

A prominent Clare haulier fears there’s going to be mayhem for their sector, as Britain ramps up preparations for a hard Brexit.

The UK Chancellor has provided an extra £2.1 billion to prepare for a no-deal scenario, which will be used to stockpile medicines, hire more border officials and fund a publicity campaign.

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson says they’ll be leaving the EU on October 31st with or without a deal, while the Taoiseach has admitted that we should be afraid of a no-deal scenario.
