Clare hurling legend Anthony Daly has been appointed the Community Champion in this county, as part of the COVID-19 Community Outreach initiative.
The aim of the programme is to appoint those who have strong local connections and an in-depth knowledge of the available resources and supports in each location.
The county champions nationwide will then consult with each other and feedback information from the ground to the government on any issues and gaps identified.
