A former Clare TD and Councillor is hitting out at certain dog owners for what he is calling “criminal” abuse of Clare’s nature spots.
James Breen has raised concern about an alleged spike in dog fouling incidents in Lahinch.
He says the onus is on dog owners to abide by the laws and even though they’re risking a €150 on-the-spot fine for not cleaning up after their pets, the issue is not going away.
