Ennis motorists are facing 10 cent hike in parking charges from early next year.

The move forms part of Ennis Town Council’s budget for 2011, which was unanimously passed at a special meeting last evening
Despite despite significant decreases in the local authority’s overall income, commercial rates were left unchanged.
Ennis Town Manager Ger Dollard admits a reduction in rates would have been beneficial for businesses in the town.
However, he says such a move wasn’t feasible.
