There’s been welcome for the Government’s announcement of 10 million euro in aid for people affected by the floods.
The Cabinet approved the money along with a further 2 million euro for farmers who’ve suffered from the flooding of their lands.

The 10 million euro humanitarian fund will be means tested and administered on the ground by the local Community welfare services
Yesterday the amount was criticised by Opposition parties for being too meagre
However Clare Fianna Fail TD Timmy Dooley has welcomed the move and hopes it will provide some relief to Clare residents who’ve had to leave their homes
