More than 10,300 people are still availing of the Pandemic Unemployment Payment in Clare.
It’s a reduction of more than 300 on last week’s number, and well short of the almost 15,000 people in this county claiming the PUP at its peak last May.
The Department of Social Protection say 445 people in Clare have closed their payment claim to return to work in the last three weeks.

Nationally, more than 420,000 people are still receiving the government support into their bank accounts this week.
